A full-stack expense tracker for roommates that keeps personal spending private while supporting shared expenses, custom splits, balances, receipts and household reports.

Silent product walkthrough using fictional household data. Sign in, record private and shared expenses, review exact-cent splits, and compare balances and spending reports. No money is moved.

  • Built private and shared expense workflows with equal, fixed and percentage splits using exact-cent calculations.
  • Implemented FastAPI authentication, server-side sessions, CSRF protection, household authorization, email verification and PostgreSQL migrations.

  • Cleaned 81 fictional rows into 80 postings with pandas, handling duplicates, missing values, and normalization.
